Perhaps one has never seen such a baffled, and bewildered in ones life. Such a look was plastered to Levi’s face, his scrunched up façade looking down at a blank sheet of paper, where his essay should have been poured onto, with a flourish of sentences and paragraphs. He wanted to ball up the paper, and find the hottest volcano in the land, and toss it in, cackling as it smoldered to nothing. A tad ominous, but nonetheless, one can dream. More like hallucination, but it’s all the same in Levi’s head. That empty space that should hold a brain, and wit allegedly. Levi pressed the tip of the pen to the page, but the pen stayed in its position, as if rejecting his wish for it to move across the page. Who wanted to write about some thing that happened over one hundred years ago? Not I, Nor Levi for that matter.
Usually warm weather, and the nice golden rays helped him think, but this was defiantly not working well. The cold has taken over the field, making him shiver in his parka. Growling in frustration, Levi drew a rather large ‘X’ right over the words he had written, and crumpled up the sheet of paper, some where in the world, a person cringing as a tree died for the paper to be smashed. He pushed the paper and pen both into the front of the beat up bag he had positioned at the side of the bench he currently at on, his legs twisted around the rim, a few words scribbled into the material from the last day. Class got boring see? He smiled at the material, his fingernail digging into the small, chicken scratch wording on the knee, not able to read the writing. It was his writing, and he couldn’t even read it. But it was something profound, obviously. Or preposterously retarded, as most of what he said and wrote had some cheeky note to it.
Crunching his nose up, his fingertip pushing on the middle of the glasses, as they where dangerously close to falling from his nose, down onto the grass below. The fields seemed to be the perfect place to be lazy, sprawl over the grass, and maybe take small nap, looking odd if you happened to snore. Levi placed his right hand on the smooth wooden plank he sat on, looking down at the graffiti that littered it. If you where to sit and study all the black marks, and words, it would be a session in foul words. Some of the words he’d never even heard of, but then again, he had a mild mouth, not much swearing lacing his tongue. He didn’t mind being alone. In fact, most of his thinking was done in the serenity of the wilderness, often thinking it all over.
Levi lifted his right hand off the fridged wood, to fiddle with the front of his glasses once more, as they were trying to escape his face again. Jade eyes gazed around, his head turning to help him take in his surrounds. The park was mostly empty, a few others dotting the lawns, laughing having fun. Blink, Levi looked back down at his jeans, smirking. He reached for the tatty carrier bag, fumbling around for his pen. De-capping it, he started scribbling over the fabric once more, his absorbed in his own little world, busy drawing a face for his stick figure. Simple things keep a simple mind busy. He should really have been in class, but his teacher told him he didn't need to come into the classroom, but didn't explain why. Frowning slightly, Levi stretched his legs out, kicking up his feet, his shoes bottoms being displayed for anyone that should happen to look at his ratty old trainers.
